Carol Hodgkins-Smith is the daughter of Arnold Hodgkins and grew up on the property of Deerfoot Gallery in Leaskdale.
Carol was used as a model in many of Arnold's paintings - this one to the left was completed in 1966 when Carol was 16 years of age.
